Support Fedora: help us promote a culture of accessibility in the cultural sector

Cultural accessibility is not a linear or fixed goal. Instead, it is a comprehensive journey that encompasses a range of tools and opportunities. As it unfolds, the journey reveals itself, involving multiple levels of operation and collaboration with various organisations to raise awareness and promote best practices. As an association, we are committed to achieving this and to ensuring that everyone has free and equal access to cultural content and spaces.

If you believe, as we do, that participation is a fundamental right for everyone, there are several ways you can support our work.

The Fedora membership card

Becoming a Fedora member means joining a community of people who share the same values and goals: creating a more open and welcoming society in which everyone can participate in cultural life.
A number of exclusive benefits are available to those who sign up, including:

  • a discount on the price of FOSCA, our online course on cultural accessibility, equal to the VAT amount;
  • a variety of discounts on events organised by Fedora or resulting from collaborations with cultural institutions.

The membership card is issued in the holder’s name, is valid for 12 months from January to December of the same year, and costs €10 per person.

Would you like to donate a larger amount? As a cultural association, we accept voluntary charitable donations from both citizens and organisations. You can donate whatever amount you wish. Depending on your tax regime, you may even be eligible for certain tax reliefs.

A Fedora activity
in your name

Here at Fedora, we offer annual training courses on cultural accessibility, as well as organising awareness-raising events: you can support the development of one or more of these activities by providing targeted funding. For instance, you may consider funding a scholarship in your name for people with disabilities who wish to participate in our training programme. Alternatively, you could become an official sponsor of one of our annual events.

If you would like to find out more or wish to discuss how you can best provide support, please call Valeria on +39 328 096 0766 or email her at progetti@associazionefedora.com.
